This Privacy Policy explains how Clearance Warehouse Australia, a division of BuyFactory Direct Pty Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit clearancewarehouse.net.au or buy from us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the store and look after you. This may include:

• Payment information: handled by our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full card numbers.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your cart, understand how the site is used and measure our advertising. • To send order confirmations and delivery updates, and marketing emails where you have agreed to them. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

We share personal information only as needed to run the store: with our payment providers, our delivery couriers and warehouse, our email and website hosting providers, and the analytics and advertising providers named above. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Information handled outside Australia

Some of the providers we use store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, and our parent company, Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, is in Thailand. We only share what each one needs to do its job, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including our legal, accounting and tax record keeping. When it is no longer needed we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email theteam@clearancewarehouse.net.au and we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email us first at theteam@clearancewarehouse.net.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections at checkout. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect what you give us.

Children

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will remove them.
